Our instructor Ivan gave me some tips that helped me find the pocket and make it through more sections, and the drone footage from Neal was so helpful to see how my stance was limiting my turns. Regina was a friendly and accommodating host - it was a little hot to do the planned surf skate so we pivoted and went to Samas for an amazing sauna / cold plunge. The itinerary was super flexible and was tailored to our group so well - all of us are experienced at catching waves and looking to uplevel our long boarding form. The team made everything so easy, from surf sessions to relaxing after long days in the water, allowing me to fully enjoy the experience.

La Saladita is the most amazing wave I’ve ever surfed. The long, endless lefts are a dream, and every day in the water was unforgettable. Beyond the surfing, what made this trip so special was the peaceful atmosphere, the wonderful people I met from all over the world, and the sense of connection I felt during my stay.

I always felt very safe in the village, and I came for the waves but left with amazing memories, new friends, and a deep connection to La Saladita. I’ll definitely be back!
